On July 29, 2025, Hawkins County 911, EMS, and Rescue Squad worked together to save a citizen who suffered a sudden cardiac arrest. Within 40 seconds of the 911 call, help was dispatched and CPR was in progress. Responders delivered rapid treatment, and the patient was later discharged home. This case highlights the success of the Hawkins County EMS Cardiac Response Program and the teamwork of every link in the chain of survival.
